Halloween Costumes for Boy/Girl Twins

Halloween Costumes for Twins

Last Halloween, I wrote a post on How Do You Do It? about DIY costumes for twins and preggers. Of course, now that we are approaching the twins’ first Halloween, we are starting to think about potential costumes for them. Of course, we know that we only have a certain number of years until they will dictate what they want to be, so we had better get in our ideas soon!

Here are some of my favorites:

Mickey and Minnie Mouse

A ladybug and a bumblebee (or a monkey)

Raggedy Ann and Andy

Mary Poppins, Burt, Jane, and Michael

Luke and Leia

Under the Sea: mermaid/seahorse/flamingo and octopus/lobster/shark/starfish/pirate/stingray

Woody and Jessie

Charlie Brown/Snoopy/Linus and Lucy/Sally/Woodstock

A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and April

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet

The Flintstones: Fred and Wilma, Pebbles and Bambam, Barney and Betty

Mario and Princess Peach

So what do you think? Any of these jump out at you? Any guesses as to what we are going to go with? You’ll find out in a couple of months!

  1. Great ideas! Can’t wait to see what you pick. Last year Ian was a monster, and I made his costume. Have started to think about his costume for this year, but haven’t settled on anything yet. At the pace I work, I’ll need to come up with something soon or else it won’t be ready in time for Halloween!

    • Thanks! We are starting to lean towards one theme… but I may keep it a surprise for now. Good luck with your costume!! I really love homemade costumes!
