Crock Pot Lasagna

Always on the hunt for a good, easy recipe, I don’t know that you can beat this one! I have made it 3 times now, and each time I realize how easy it is. No browning the ground beef, no extra preparing items EXCEPT for chopping the onions. It is becoming a weekly staple!

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
4 cups of beef broth
garlic powder, Garlic Garlic, or 4-5 minced cloves of garlic
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried basil
1 medium chopped onion
28oz can of diced tomatoes (get flavored diced tomatoes to skip the previous seasoning)
6 oz can of tomato paste
2-3 cups of uncooked shell pasta
1 cup water
salt and pepper to taste
shredded cheese topping

Directions:
1. Mix uncooked ground beef, beef broth, seasoning (garlic, dried parsley, basil, salt, and pepper), onion, diced tomatoes and tomato paste in a large crock pot.

2. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 5-6 hours.

3. When 30 minutes remain, add in the water and uncooked pasta. Cover and complete cooking.

4. Add cheese directly to the soup or to individual portions.
